Sightlines Spoken: The Arts and Gentrification is a two-part public discussion co-presented by Sightlines, Big Medium, the Carver Museum, and Austin Creative Alliance. Moderated by Jeanne Claire van Ryzin, the discussion will consider the arts community and its relationship to gentrification in East Austin and beyond. On Nov 13, the panel will focus on the forces of history leading to gentrification in East Austin. On Nov 15, the talk will center on the responsibilities of the arts community moving forward.
