    CORRESPONDENCE features a new series of weaving-objects through which the artist explores the relation between abstraction, memory and the process of making.     Rosewood presents a variety of artists' work throughout the day, including 2D digital illustration, tiny house exhibition, jewelry making, photography, and more. Saturday evening (11/17) features live bands, and Sunday evening (11/18) features a backyard screening of music videos and short films. Rosewood is raising donations for a local non-profit, Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM).

    Guerilla Suit is pleased to host artist Robert Warenoff. In his paintings, Warenoff attempts to create a visual experience that not only pleases the senses with design and color, but also challenges the viewer to look beyond the two dimensional surface. Geometric patterns and shapes are used to create the illusion of form, structure and space. The addition of color gives it feeling.

    Jonathan Kiritharan will be making a queen-sized bed out of pancakes during this event to spoken-word and musical performances. He is an artist focusing on the themes of the unconscious-self and the heat death of the universe. He involves food as a performative medium to transform spaces and the concepts of nurture, pleasure, and necessity associated with food and consumption.

    Black Mountain Project is a new contemporary art space. BMP aims to activate unexpected points of encounter while expanding perceptions of identity, community, and practice. Founding artists Adrian Aguilera, Betelhem Makonnen and Tammie Rubin will present a collaborative immersive video installation as its inaugural project - a mixtape of appropriated images and audio files introducing the conceptual foundation of BMP.

    EAST Weekends, 12-4pm

    Mexic-Arte Museum's Changarrito Residency Program is a pop-up mobile art cart that has hosted over 60 artists since 2012. Stephanie Sandoval's work expresses her identity as both a third-generation Mexican American and as a young woman inspired by radical Latinas. Her art applies modern-day visual culture to reimagine Latinas and their characteristics in a contemporary, and sometimes satirical fashion.

    Tom's work focuses on articulated minimalism, industrial materialism, and a strong sense of architectural volume. The work's simplicity and intention is intended to bring the viewer to a meditative state, devoid of any semiotic reference to pop- or cultural- figures, providing a vessel for new conceptions about material, color, shape, and the epistemic structure of concept.
