Color, movement, light and shadow: the basic elements of our visual daily experience. My paintings freeze these constantly shifting pieces, while also creating the illusion of change and fluidity. The wood I paint on highlights my connection to nature. The lines I create, using masking tape as my sketch pencil and sculptural mold, shimmer with bright hues and iridescence.
