My work examines how the popularity of social media shapes the perception and behavior of ourselves, others, and objects around us. My most recent work combines augmented reality with physical objects. By creating augmented abstractions, I'm questioning how people interact with a work when it's taken outside of their familiar experiences of AR as beauty filters, cute animals, and advertising.
